Before roasting, the green coffee beans are immersed in water, releasing the caffeine. Because the water contains soluble components of the coffee bean, the beans still maintain their natural flavor. Once the process is complete, the beans are 99.9% caffeine free. They are then dried and shipped to our coffee house in Roswell, GA to be artisan small batch roasted to perfection. Currently, this roast type is the only Rwandan Decaf sold in the United States!
