Judi Brinegar serves as the Senior Account Representative for CauseKeepers, Inc. and has been an integral part of our partnership with Soldier’s Angels. Judi will be joining Soldier’s Angels in a visit to encourage wounded U.S. Soldiers in July. We pray for safe travel and are appreciative of Judi’s service not only to CauseKeepers but to her country. Soldiers' Angels has launched partnerships with several organizations and businesses including CauseKeepers, Inc. for a Freedom Celebration that will live on in the memories of many wounded service members and their families past the events of the day. On July 5th, 2008 at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio , Soldiers' Angels and Gibson Guitar Company will present a minimum of twenty guitars to wounded guitar playing soldiers and one guitar to each of the seven local Fisher Houses. Jeff Bader, husband of Patti Patton- Bader the founder of Soldiers' Angels, will participate in the activities throughout the day. "I am honored to be involved in the whole event," Jeff Bader mentions, "but since I am also a guitar player, this new program and the gifts to our service members is something very special to me. Music truly has a healing power and guitar playing soldiers who have suffered from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) have improved their short term memory capabilities by remembering the songs they used to play." In the afternoon, Soldiers' Angels will host a picnic for approximately 1200 wounded soldiers and their families at the Fisher Houses "Quad" area, while the band Angels and Airwaves will showcase their acoustic abilities for the guests. Additionally there will be games, coloring books, prizes, clowns and balloon sculptures etc. for the kids. In the early evening transportation will be provided to any soldier and their family members who would like to attend to the Vans Warped Tour at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in (Stella) San Antonio at 8 p.m. The Vans Warped Tour is the longest-running traveling music festival in the nation. Admission is free to the service members and their families. They will watch the show from a viewing area near the stage built exclusively for them compliments of Kevin Lyman, C.E.O. and founder of the Vans Warped Tour.
