Gary Sinese and CauseKeepers StaffActor Gary Sinise, known for his portrayal of Lt. Dan in Forrest Gump, is executive producer of “Brothers at War,” which opened March 13 in select towns near military bases. Appearing in Fayetteville, NC on March 14, Sinise was joined by Jake Rademacher, the director, to talk to audiences about the film and the film-making process.

CauseKeepers, Inc. employees Judi Brinegar, Beth McAllister and Bryan Simpson traveled to Fayetteville for the movie premiere on behalf of Soldiers' Angels.

Rademacher made the documentary in a quest to understand his brothers’ experiences in war-torn Iraq. He followed Capt. Isaac Rademacher and Staff Sgt. Joe Rademacher to Iraq to tell their stories. Isaac Rademacher is stationed at Fort Bragg. The film also tells the stories of the soldiers’ families as they deal with the deployments.

During the meet and greet with Sinise, Brinegar presented him with a Soldiers' Angels Crystal Award for his dedication and support of soldiers both in the U.S. and overseas. For more information on the movie, go to www.brothersatwarmovie.com.
