Scientist Rosalind Franklin made the first clear X-Ray image of the structure of DNA while working at King's College in London in 1952. In our Vision of Rosalind print series we celebrate this. Her photo 'Photo 51' led to the discovery of the double helix by James Watson and Francis Crick. Photo 51 proved to be a driving force behind one of the greatest discoveries in the history of science, and has been interpreted into this contemporary art prints series by Wyllie O Hagan. She wrote: "In my view, all that is necessary for faith is the belief that by doing our best we shall succeed in our aims: the improvement of mankind." Rosalind Franklin died at the age of 37 from ovarian cancer.
